General Maintenance Painter

General Maintenance Painter , you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to a welcoming and well-kept environment for our residents. What You'll Do: Perform preventative maintenance across our campus Complete assigned maintenance work orders efficiently Assist in overseeing work done by outside contractors Report any unusual occurrences or damages to the Director of Facilities Participate in renovations of apartments, duplexes, and cottages Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, woodwork, and columns Prepare surfaces, make minor wood repairs, and apply finishes such as stains, sealants, and primers Ensure living spaces maintain a fresh, well-maintained appearance Provide after-hours and weekend maintenance services as scheduled Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and functional condition Work collaboratively with team members to uphold a high standard of service Follow all safety procedures and emergency protocols Assist with snow removal when needed Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For:
At least one year of related painting or maintenance experience Experience with general maintenance and hand tools Strong communication skills in English (speaking and writing) A passion for working with seniors and individuals with disabilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Self-motivated and able to work independently If you're looking for a fulfilling role where your skills make a difference, apply today and become part of a team that values your expertise and dedication!
