Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents across various care settings Obtain detailed patient histories and conduct developmental screenings Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions Administer immunizations and prescribe medications Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust care plans Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes Promote health and wellness education for patients and families Perform physicals for school, sports, or extracurricular participation Maintain complete and accurate electronic health records in accordance with clinical standards Minimum Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in good standing Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) through one of the following: Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Other recognized certifying bodies for pediatric or neonatal specialties AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for inpatient privileges) 2-4 years of pediatric NP experience preferred; open to early-career professionals with strong clinical acumen Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills Compensation & Benefits
