Summary:

Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.

Required Certification:

BLS (Basic Life Support) - Relevant Specialty; Patient Care Technician

Minimum requirements include

one of the following: 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs; or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes a clinical component.

Preferred Experience:

1 year - Hospital in related field.

Required - High School or Equivalent; Required - Technical - Patient Care Technician; Or - Technical - Certified Nursing Assistant; Or - Technical - Emergency Medical Technician; Or - Technical - Licensed Practical Nurse; Or - Technical - Reference summary for details
