As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, fostering a positive work environment, and guiding a team of skilled nurses in delivering exceptional maternal and neonatal care.

Supervise and support the Labour and Delivery nursing team, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures. Oversee patient care activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care under clinical guidelines and hospital protocols. Work closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and overall department efficiency. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and effective environment for patients and staff. Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet the needs of the Labour and Delivery unit. Respond effectively to emergencies, providing guidance and support to the nursing team and ensuring timely, appropriate interventions. Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington. 2 years of recent experience in critical care with clinical knowledge and leadership qualities. BLS certification is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
