Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Location:
Lynchburg, VA 24501 - Virginia healthcare jobs Shift:
4x9-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Call:
One night per week and every fifth weekend Floating:
Required to Southside Community Hospital campus twice weekly (paid hourly for drive time) Orientation:
Every other Monday Cath Lab RN Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Proficient in scrubbing for cardiac catheterization procedures All requested time off must be submitted with application Local candidates are not eligible for this travel nurse position Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including scrubbing and circulating Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care Float to Southside Community Hospital campus as scheduled Participate in on-call rotation as assigned Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
