Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being, identifying any complications or deviations from normal. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed. Assist with labor support, pain management, and delivery, including natural and surgical births. Educate patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Candidate requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing or a related field.
Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS certification preferred.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
