Description Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and formulate tailored treatment strategies Deliver physical therapy interventions concentrating on mobility, strength enhancements, balance improvement, and functional capabilities Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehab experts to enhance patient outcomes Inform patients and their families about therapeutic ambitions, discharge planning, and at-home exercise regimens Keenly document assessments, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory protocols Engage in care team clinics and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited educational institution Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist Current CPR certification is advantageous but not mandatory Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are preferred but not essential Skills
Relevant previous experience is highly desirable Ability to work with diverse patients facing intricate medical and mobility challenges Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities Familiarity with digital clinical documentation systems Benefits
