Job Responsibilities: -Performs gross description and dissection of complex surgical specimens with clinical proficiency in assigned principals and practices and in a timely manner to assure workflow. -Ensures adequacy of specimens submitted and communicates with surgery or outside client if there is a problem with a specimen. -Selects and stains appropriate tissue sections for Frozen Sections as well as performing specimen photography when requested. -Assures all patient care work is completed before leaving the work area and communicates additional needs to hold over cases to pathologists or PA. -Assists Technicians as needed in performing all duties to ensure workflow and quality patient care. These duties include computer functions as well as all charging and coding functions.

Shift: 9a-530p M-F, no call or autopsy
