Weirton, West Virginia 26062 (West Virginia nursing jobs) Assignment Length:
13 weeks (travel nurse contract) Setting:
Acute Care Hospital, Cardiac Cath Lab Shift:
12-hour day shifts (5:30am - 6:00pm), with varied on-call during the week Call Requirements:
1-2 weeknights per week; one on-call weekend (Friday-Sunday) every 4th weekend; may participate in holiday call rotation Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2280-$2450 Orientation:
2-3 shifts with a preceptor Scrubs:
Royal blue (provided) Qualifications - Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Active RN license (Registered Nurse, West Virginia or compact state) BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all Cath Lab RN jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience Experience in interventional radiology and peripheral vascular procedures Proficient with impella, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, and roto devices Skilled in conscious sedation and airway management Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately Excellent teamwork and communication skills Key Responsibilities - Cath Lab Nurse
Provide pre-admission and post-procedure care in the holding area Deliver procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab Insert PICC lines and manage IV conscious sedation Monitor and manage patient airways during cardiac procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including cardiovascular technologists and physicians Respond to on-call emergencies within a 30-minute response time as part of a 4-person team Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Soarian EMR (electronic medical records)
