Your new responsibilities
The Process Engineer position is within our Packaging Department team and includes the following primary responsibilities:
Providing technical support to the automotive lighting packaging lines Writing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, process flow, and process failure modes and effects analysis documents Performs analysis and root cause investigation into quality concerns, implements corrective actions to prevent recurrence Drives continuous improvement activities and utilization of LEAN methodologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity Training manufacturing personnel as necessary in the use and maintenance of new equipment and processes Leading/coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and quality investigations Further develop process control systems to improve the safety, quality, and productivity of packaging lines Collaborate with both shop floor staff and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a supportive presence Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering Familiarity with Lean practices is a plus Organized with clear written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using reviewing data to support problem-solving and decision-making using Excel, Minitab
