Family planning services, life insurance, and legal support. Job Summary and Qualifications The HCA Nurse Residency Program equips you with the necessary tools to thrive in a hospital environment. This paid program facilitates your transition from the classroom to practical, real-world nursing through a structured series of learning experiences, including: Advanced clinical training in a specialized area. Monthly educational sessions. Preceptorship training with experienced healthcare professionals. Hands-on simulations to evaluate and enhance skills. Mentoring from seasoned nurse leaders. Collaboration on evidence-based practice projects. The RN Resident will coordinate and deliver exemplary, patient-centered care while adhering to the standards of practice specific to their specialty and state regulations. You will work alongside medical providers and the care team, providing individualized, empathetic care following established nursing frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, noting any significant changes. Execute medical procedures and documentation accurately and promptly. Administer medications, monitoring patient responses, and address any adverse effects immediately. Deliver exceptional patient service by proactively addressing needs and requests. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and care plans in an accessible manner. Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. RN License is mandatory; prior experience is not required. Willingness to travel for training may be necessary.
