Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: Strictly adhere to work instructions and safety policies, ensuring the use of all PPE and safety equipment. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Detect mechanical issues by observing and listening to devices in operation. Dismantle devices as necessary to access and remove defective parts. Lubricate and clean machinery to maintain high housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards. Execute work orders to enhance safety, minimize downtime, reduce scrap, improve quality production, and boost plant efficiency. Comply with all safety rules, procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program, and maintain a safe work environment. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance-related position within a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, and diagrams. Proficiency with precision measuring devices, such as amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges. Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Basic math skills for performing calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions. A mature and professional demeanor with personal responsibility in all tasks.
