Volunteer at our Gresham Furniture Bank!

WANTED: organizing wizards, precision unpackers, customer service superstars, and compassionate people to support the work we do creating safe, comfortable homes. Community Warehouse is Portland's only nonprofit furniture bank. We receive donations of gently used furniture and household items and redistribute them to neighbors in need in our community. We have a great volunteer opportunity to assist staff in sorting donations and preparing them for clients to take home: Donation Sorting Volunteers Are able to commit to working at least 2 shifts per month Assist with processing incoming donations Bundle housewares and linens for easier distribution to clients Maintain order and cleanliness of the Warehouse Pack up items for clients Treat all visitors to the Warehouse with respect and sensitivity Shifts available: Wed-Fri 9:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 5:00pm Saturdays 9:00pm - 12:00pm and 12:00pm - 3:00pm Visit www.communitywarehouse.org/volunteer for more information!
