We are looking for a dynamic
Electrical Manufacturing Engineer for 2nd Shift
to join our National Space Systems Integration & Test team in Huntsville, AL. This role involves leading the planning and execution of electrical operations on the manufacturing floor, including the development of automated test scripts, procedures, and essential documentation necessary for spaceflight instrument testing. You will collaborate closely with Planning & Production Control, Engineers, and Operations Leads to ensure seamless execution of tests and processes. Join us in tackling the world's most pressing security challenges with our robust solutions. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Managing manufacturing orders to meet project deadlines. Implementing efficient procedures to convert raw materials into high-quality finished products. Utilizing MES software (Solumina) to track manufacturing processes ensuring compliance and quality. Maintaining and generating Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOMS) and routings. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects. Planning and managing production flow through the MRP system and change management processes. Overseeing configuration and data management for effective tracking of changes. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize production workflows. Resolving production-related issues including changes, material shortages, and scheduling priorities. Monitoring job statuses, reporting progress, and managing risks effectively. Participating in ISO9001/AS9100 processes to maintain high-quality standards. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or a master's degree with less than 2 years of experience. Able to thrive in a collaborative environment alongside multidisciplinary teams. Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, and integration with electrical or electromechanical components. Availability to work second shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) and initial training on first shift. Must be a US Citizen and possess (or be eligible for) a Final Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test operations and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with electronics assembly processes including soldering and mechanical assembly. Experience in project scheduling and working with Solumina MES software. Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
