Responsibilities : Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties. Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of patients during a variety of operative treatment procedures. Provide a 10-star Patient experience. Contribute positively to an engaging company culture. Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures. Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, orthodontics, pediatric, endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4 handed dentistry). Make patients as comfortable as possible while preparing them for treatment. Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment. Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos. Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment. Monitor daily supplies for restocking. Assists the dentist in providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. Follows infection control protocol. Required Skills/Abilities:
Required: six months DA experience: active WA state dental assistant registration number. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, customer service & written communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care. Prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Preferred: coronal polishing certificate. Dentologie Benefits and Perks :
