7 PM to 7 AM, with a requirement of 3-12 hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Description
Join our dedicated team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where you will provide specialized care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. Our unit consists of 108 beds, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:4, ensuring personalized care for our patients.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients, including preterm and full-term infants. Monitor and manage patients on various equipment such as nasal cannulas, bubble CPAP, vents, and IV pumps. Perform advanced nursing procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, and PDA ligations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate and support families on the care of their infants. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of level III NICU experience is required. Experience with preemies (at least 28 weeks), management of central lines, and respiratory management up to and including intubated patients. Current certifications in NRP and BLS are mandatory. Experience with surgical and cardiac patients, as well as trach infants and Broviacs, is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
