Save Job

Alzheimer's takes a devastating toll on caregivers. Compared with caregivers of people without dementia, twice as many caregivers of those with dementia indicate substantial emotional, financial and physical difficulties. Of the total lifetime cost of caring for someone with dementia, 70% is borne by families - either through out-of-pocket health and long-term care expenses or from the value of unpaid care. Make a difference! We provide all the materials for those interested in educating in the community. In addition, we're seeking someone to train and pair with an experienced facilitator for a caregiver support group that meets the 2nd W at 1 pm. Interested? Complete the Alzheimer's Association Volunteer Interest Survey at bit.ly/alz-vol-interest today! Our volunteers deliver support and education, raise funds, advocate for Alzheimer’s and more to help achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia(r). Whatever your skills, whatever time you have, we have in-person and virtual opportunities to provide vital support for people living with Alzheimer's and their families.
