Trillium Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a leading site development contractor based in the Kissimmee, Florida area.
This contractor specializes in grading and earthwork projects ranging from 5 to 60 acres and offers a full suite of site services including erosion control, clearing, grading, sanitary and storm sewer installation, water line work, as well as paving, curbing, and wall construction.
Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for civil sitework projects. The ideal candidate has proven experience in estimating site development projects and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities: -Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine full scope of work -Perform detailed takeoffs using Agtek or similar software for volume and quantity calculations -Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing -Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals with qualifications and clarifications -Track and price change orders as needed -Collaborate with operations teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project execution goals

Minimum Qualifications: -Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word -Civil/site development estimating experience (grading, erosion control, utilities, etc.) -Ability to perform takeoffs and read/interpret site plans
Preferred Qualifications: -Familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid or similar estimating software -Background in project or field management a plus
