Job Title: Assistant Quality Manager

Pay: Depending on experience

Hours: 1st shift: flexible hours between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Position Type: TTH

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to implement effective quality audits and inspections.

Duties

Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a minimum amount of direction and supervision.

Notified inspectors of job requirements and directs applicable training.

Monitors inspections reports, statistical data, Effectives of performance, and initiates actions to maintain acceptable conformance levels.

Develops inspection methods and procedures, control plans.

Collects statistical Data.

Implements all quality related procedures.

Maintains inspections documents and related procedures (control Plans, pints etc.) calibrates gauges (if capable to do in-house), and supports the collection of statistical data.

Collects quality related data, analyzes and summarizes, and presents it to the Director of Quality.

Analyzes, prepares, and issues reports on statistical findings for customers, as required.

Ensures that all quality Assurance documentation, instructions, and procedural requirements are met.

Assists in the documentation required by ISO/TS 16949:2009, including control plans, and inspection procedures or instructions, as required.

Executes the training of process inspectors, verifies the application of proper inspection methods, and adherence to quality procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of project management principles as they relate to quality initiatives.

Minimum of five years' experience in the quality assurance field.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to quality metrics.

Strong communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members at all levels of the organization.

Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
