Position Description Join our team as a Dedicated Solo Class A CDL Driver! We are excited to welcome the right employee to drive with us at Ryder. Ryder Drivers on this account earn $2120 or more weekly, and the benefits continue to improve. Drivers are paid weekly Average Hours: 50+ hours per week Pay per mile: $0.59 for solo miles, with an anticipated 2500 miles weekly Stop pay: $30.02 per stop, with around 18 stops per week Layover pay: $35.00 for layovers, with 3-4 nights out weekly Paid training provided Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 12:00 PM Why choose Ryder? Tractor Type: Sleeper Trailer Type: Flatbed 48' Operating Equipment: Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Ladders Freight: Touch - Electrical Hardware Load Securement: Strapping Doubles endorsement preferred. Flatbed experience is a plus. Our trucks are 36 months old or newer and come with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers can fuel up at over 800 facilities nationwide. Requirements: Minimum 21 years of age Must pass a Ryder drug test Background and motor vehicle checks required Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements Minimum experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, standards, and regulations Identify and minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records and logs Assist in loading and unloading freight as required Complete additional duties as assigned Ryder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
