As an Electrical Project Engineer in our Grid & Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) team, you'll work at the forefront of Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) technology-enabling utilities and industries to maximize capacity, stability, and efficiency with minimal environmental impact. How You'll Make an Impact Lead engineering development for multidisciplinary grid integration projects.

Develop innovative solutions for complex power system challenges.

Drive completion of all electrical engineering activities on assigned projects.

Coordinate electrical engineering efforts across multiple projects and teams.

Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.

Create work plans, cost estimates, and ensure quality deliverables.

Engage directly with customers, contractors, and suppliers.

Design and execute projects in line with industry standards and customer specifications.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power systems or grid integration.

Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and ANSI/IEEE standards.

Experience with FACTS or high-voltage transmission substation solutions preferred.

Familiarity with control and protection panel design is a plus.

Experience with E3 or CAD software is a plus.

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
