We are searching for a skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to enhance and streamline production processes, develop effective tooling, create clear work instructions, and ensure efficient operations within our manufacturing setting. This role is essential for achieving production excellence through engineering solutions and process advancements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing methods and processes. Design and implement tooling and fixtures to maximize production efficiency. Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions for production tasks. Support production line operations and effectively troubleshoot manufacturing challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Design, and Operations to foster continuous improvement. Assist in the implementation and support of MES systems, PLM systems (e.g., Windchill), and CAD tools. Contribute to new product introductions (NPI) and process validation initiatives. Candidates should be prepared to reside in Northern Alabama or willing to relocate. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience may be considered. A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Willingness to be hands-on and support activities on the production floor. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance. Proficiency in crafting clear and concise work instructions. Preferred Qualifications: Robust background in process development, tooling design, and production support. Familiarity with Solumina, Windchill, MES systems, and SolidWorks or other CAD software. Knowledge of aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing sectors. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and lead process improvement initiatives.
