THE OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for soliciting and managing a profitable portfolio of Specialty clients in focused industries. Maintains up to date and superior expertise in deposit product suite, industry specific knowledge, and familiarity with bank offering to effectively identify and close opportunities on behalf of bank. Maintains a disciplined and organized calling plan with prospects and clients to meet sales and growth goals, as well as ensure client satisfaction and retention. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Product Sales:

Takes a consultative approach with clients and matches clients with the right set of products. Meets product revenue goals. In a client centric way, seeks opportunities to improve the Bank's NII through product sales and cross sell of fee-based products. Manage product price concessions, ECRs, and fee waivers.

Deposit Growth/Deposit Pricing:

Drives deposit growth consistent with bank's appetite and at direction of Manager. Recommend deposit pricing that ensures retention and promotes growth as market interest rates change (while optimizing deposit margin for the bank).

Deepen Client Relationships/Profitability:

For existing clients, completes systematic relationship reviews and executes on cross-sell plan.

Strategy/New Business:

Identify and grow industry vertical niches that match Bank's strategy, markets, and competitive positioning.

Market Feedback and Continuous Improvement

: Provides continuous communication with Product Management, Deposit Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure we have competitive product set and each client's experience with the bank is timely, professional, and of high quality. Collaborates with internal partners to solve critical issues.

Marketing:

Partners with Marketing to maintain right visibility and create marketing collateral to support strategy.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Maintains strong knowledge of risk and compliance - including BSA/AML, information security/fraud, and identity theft. Completes all compliance certifications timely.

Credit Support:

Works with Credit Administration/Portfolio Management to facilitate client's credit needs in accordance with industry vertical norms and Banc's credit appetite.

Teamwork:

Contributes to a high performance culture and fosters collaboration within the team/bank. Coaches and mentors junior team members at all levels.

Leadership:

Demonstrates sales leadership, professionalism, and a results-oriented approach to day to day activities. Is highly visible at industry events, with prospects, clients and all key internal partners.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

15+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking, treasury, or specialty deposits with significant executive leadership responsibility.

8+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking, treasury, or specialty deposits with significant leadership responsibility.

Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

Strong understanding of business credit and underwriting.

Advanced sales skills and working knowledge of Commercial Banking, Community Banking, and Private Banking, and Real Estate segments.

Contributed to growth in specialty deposit businesses, delivering measurable impact on enterprise profitability and market positioning.

Excellent technical banking knowledge and insight into specialty client segments, driving differentiated service models and market expansion (e.g., fintech, escrow, fiduciaries, government entities).

Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements for specialty deposits.

Strong strategic thinking, business development, and relationship management skills.

Proven ability to support the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
