Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
A manufacturer in Marion is searching for skilled Forklift Operators to join their team on the 3rd shift. This role involves operating various types of mobile equipment and ensuring the efficient handling and transportation of materials.
Responsibilities
Operate mobile equipment such as sit-down or stand-up forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.
Operate a wrapping machine and label finished products accurately.
Utilize computer systems and RF scanners to identify materials for picking and shipping.
Inspect inbound and outbound trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Stage products for proper and efficient shipments.
Receive and ship inbound and outbound truckloads.
Conduct cycle counts for verification of inventory records.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in forklift operation, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Experience with RF scanners and shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to handle materials efficiently using electric pallet jacks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience as a Material Handler and Order Picker is preferred.
Familiarity with reach trucks and packaging techniques.
