Description

We are looking for a student pursuing an Engineering degree who has an interest in Application Engineering to join our team of Summer 2026 Interns. These internships are paid and run full-time from May 18th through July 31st, 2026. The internship assignment is designed to provide the student with real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities in a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.

Applications engineers work as a bridge between customers and engineering teams. They use customer input and sales information to coordinate with engineering teams who then design or redesigns, develops, tests, and implements complex software problems and applications. They provide technical support and expertise to customers by testing applications and responding to feedback. They perform installations and maintenance and often perform sales presentations and demonstrations on various vehicle platforms.

Employment subject to the ability to obtain a U.S. export license, if required.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Qualifications

Education Requirements Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering or a related field (engineering discipline required). Minimum of a 3.0 GPA Other Requirements

Valid Passport Preferred Skills

Ability to produce detailed but concise written work instructions pertaining to customer requirements, production improvements, purchasing assistance, etc. Experience with engine harnesses and CAN bus applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to learn new tasks outside of main discipline Have a high sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations, and achieve daily commitments
