Animal Care Volunteer (AM/PM Feeding)

Magical Creatures is an 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that is entirely volunteer-run. We are privileged to have an extraordinarily dedicated team. We rely on a small full-time staff of volunteers who live onsite, as well as a devoted group of local volunteers! Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and offer lifelong sanctuary to animals on the Big Island while serving the Hawaiian community with programs that promote kindness, compassion, and stewardship. We also extend our reach through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Change starts within the community, and we are grateful for the opportunity we have to share our residents' stories and inspire others to live more compassionately. We are helping stop the cycle of farmed animal abuse by educating others and advocating for animals every chance we get. Our feeding program involves a minimum three-month commitment with weekly shifts (approximately two hours, plus as much extra time with the animals as you'd like). 2 shifts available: 07:00 to 09:00 HST 16:00 to 18:00 HST
