Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay:
$22.00-$24.00 per hour
About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Quality Technician
to join our team. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting production by ensuring that every part and process meets the highest quality standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team, this position is a great fit for you.
What You'll Do Work closely with Engineers and production teams, offering input and ideas to improve workflow and efficiency.
Perform inspections on sheet-metal parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.) to complete accurate quality checks.
Conduct receiving inspections of raw materials and maintain clear records of all inspections.
Verify in-process audits, perform statistical analysis when needed, and support corrective action processes.
Assist with calibration programs to keep inspection equipment in top condition.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, always looking for ways to make processes better and more efficient.
Support internal audits and help uphold our company's quality standards.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, stay on schedule, and use good judgment.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or related environment.
