You thrive on productivity, efficiency, and personal accountability. • Paid time off • Healthcare • Retirement Plan • CPR certification • Bonus structures as you grow with the company We require: • Current RDA certification • MUST be able to effectively MANAGE people • Team mentality Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:15am - 4:30pm Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm Responsibilities: • Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed • Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment • Prepare and layout sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures • Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team • Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up • Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use • Manage the back office, including other staff, supplies, workflow systems, lab cases, patient treatment plans, and other duties as needed or required. Qualifications: • 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant • Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary • Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) • Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required Compensation: $28 - $30 hourly
