Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced
Med Surg RN
to join the 6W Medicine Unit at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s. The Clinical Nurse delivers safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population. Use critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Maintain documentation according to hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Requirements
Active NY RN License BLS certification
(ACLS strongly preferred) Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience
(telemetry experience required for ED boarders) BSN preferred
(Associate Degree accepted with relevant experience or active BSN enrollment) EPIC experience highly preferred 1 year of travel experience preferred (not required for per diem) Unit Details
Avg. Census: 22 patients 29 Beds, 1:6 staffing ratio Must be comfortable floating within specialty About HonorVet Technologies
