Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Field Technician

Position Summary We are looking for a skilled GPS Field Technician to support our construction projects by maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring GPS systems and associated technology. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our field operations. Responsibilities
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain GPS systems including Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or similar equipment
Perform wiring diagnostics and resolve connectivity or signal issues
Install and update software, including flash drive-based updates
Troubleshoot GPS-related software issues and perform configurations as needed
Provide support for GPS integration with CAT Equipment/Technology (E/T)
Use Microsoft Windows-based programs and GPS software tools efficiently
Support construction crews in field layout and setup of equipment
Apply general construction knowledge to assist with equipment placement and project understanding
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or GPS-related fieldwork
Strong proficiency in computer programs and Microsoft Windows
Familiarity with CAT E/T technology
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Clean and valid driver’s license
Willingness to work full-time day shifts, with occasional weekends and on-call duty
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
