Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Cardiac Adult Job Details: Work 36 hours per week on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required No call requirement Primary assignment on 4 South Cardiac unit with occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required Must be able to read Telemetry - will be tested on day one and terminated if competency is not passed Current Epic EMR proficiency required - no refresher classes or 1:1 training available Required certifications: BLS and ACLS Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract Start date available October 20th unless returning Genesis traveler from within the last 9 months Facility: This healthcare system operates a comprehensive medical facility offering specialized cardiac care and various medical-surgical services. The facility features multiple specialized units including cardiac care, wound care, stroke care, oncology, respiratory services, and observation units. The organization utilizes Epic EMR system and maintains high standards for clinical competency, particularly in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care services. Location: Zanesville, OH Zanesville offers a welcoming small-city atmosphere in southeastern Ohio with rich historical heritage and scenic beauty along the Muskingum River.
