Muller Engineering is a leading civil engineering firm dedicated to designing sustainable solutions that shape our communities. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Water/Wastewater Utilities team as Design Engineers with an emphasis on the design of capital improvement projects, construction observation and master planning studies for various public sector clients in Colorado.

Muller Engineering Company is located in Lakewood, CO, where team members have the opportunity to collaborate in person through a hybrid work schedule. We welcome applicants from across the continental United States who are willing to relocate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design of water/wastewater improvements such as water transmission and distribution lines, shallow and deep well facilities, meter and valve vaults, pumps and pumping facilities, wastewater collection pipelines, sewage lift stations, and irrigation ditch diversion facilities and measurement structures.

• Preparation of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil3D, development of specifications, technical report writing, and guiding the work of design technicians.

• Construction engineering support and observation.

• Hydraulic water and wastewater modeling, capital improvements programming and master planning studies.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or a closely related field) from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree is a plus.

• 0-3 years of experience with an interest/focus on the design of water and wastewater improvements.

• AutoCAD/Civil3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads experience a plus.

• Construction engineering support and observation experience a plus.

• Experience with water/wastewater hydraulic modeling computer programs a plus.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.

• A desire to grow personally and professionally while working in a team environment to create designs supporting our clients' overall project goals

Required License or Certification:

• Colorado Engineer Intern (EI) preferred.

Salary range for this position is: $70,000/yr - $85,000/yr and is dependent on individual education, experience and qualifications.
