Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater
Duartion: 3months
Location: Wauwatosa WI
Shift: Hours vary from 430am until 7pm
Position Overview
The PSR III - Floater serves as the
face of the company
to patients, ensuring a high-quality, professional, and caring experience during blood collection and specimen handling. This role requires strong
phlebotomy skills , excellent
customer service , and the flexibility to cover
multiple locations
as needed.
Primary Responsibilities Draws quality blood samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner Prepares and processes specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures Verifies patient identification and labeling of samples in the presence of patients Explains procedures clearly and compassionately to patients Maintains a
professional and safe
environment at all times Ensures
accurate documentation
and record-keeping Supports process improvement and adheres to compliance and confidentiality standards Demonstrates
leadership behaviors
and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, and coworkers Job Requirements
Technical Skills & Experience
Minimum
3 years phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections 2+ years
experience in a
Patient Service Center (PSC)
environment preferred Experience in
customer service
within a healthcare, retail, or service industry preferred Proficient in
keyboard/data entry Soft Skills & Attributes
Strong ability to produce
error-free work
in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work independently with
minimal supervision Flexible to adapt to
changing schedules
including weekends, holidays, and overtime Demonstrates
superior customer focus , strong communication skills, and
organizational commitment Able to
prioritize tasks
in high-volume settings Additional Requirements
Must have
reliable transportation ,
valid driver's license , and
clean driving record Willingness and ability to travel throughout the
Wisconsin area
(including Green Bay) Must adhere to company policies including
dress code ,
safety , and
excellence principles Education & Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent
required. Training
Training locations will vary depending on trainer availability. Candidate must be flexible and able to adjust to varied training sites and schedules.
