Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide therapeutic treatments to patients with physical impairments or disabilities, helping them improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients and multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations through detailed evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with professional standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous professional development and clinical research activities when applicable.
Required Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Valid and unrestricted state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate patients and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications (if an y) Experience with orthopedic, neurological, or pediatric physical therapy. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Advanced certifications such as Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) or Neurologic Certified Specialist (NCS).
Certifications (if any) Current CPR/BLS certification. Any specialty-specific certifications relevant to patient population or therapy type.
