Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) - Materials & Standards Organization is seeking Operations Procurement Agents to join our International Forgings team, covering suppliers in Europe and Asia. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you'll make a meaningful impact every day by ensuring supplier delivery and quality performance. You'll be on the front lines of the supply chain, managing the production of forgings from raw materials to finished components. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, enabling our organization to streamline systems, refine processes, and operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The scope includes standard supply chain management functions, data analysis, forecasting, demand troubleshooting, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
• Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
• Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
• Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
Required Skills:
• 3+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• 3+ years of experience in Risk/Issue/Opportunities Management
Preferred Skills:
• Forgings supply chain experience
• 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills
• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
