Job Title:
Quality and Reliability Intern
Job Description:
Quality and Reliability students will be involved in various aspects of the roles at Allison Transmission, Inc. Key learning and development areas of quality with respect to warranty & issues tools development, structured problem solving techniques, data analysis, quality audits, and commercial industry customer quality expectations. Student will work closely with their assigned supervisor and complete a specific quality project during the assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
No experience requirement - current enrollment in a 4-year engineering program with 3.0 GPA or higher
Strong desire to learn about quality and technical roles in the automotive industry and ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate well in a business setting and across functional areas
Ability to read and interpret data and technical information
Proficiency with computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools and exposure to programming
Demonstrated knowledge of basic technical concepts corresponding with school year
