Per Diem/Relief | Vancouver Washington

Hourly Range: $22.04 - $33.10

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

to join our

Hospice House team in Vancouver Washington

on a per diem/relief basis. This role is ideal for a caring professional who finds meaning in supporting patients and families during life's most important moments.

As a CNA at PeaceHealth Hospice House, you'll provide essential hands-on support to patients in partnership with our nursing team. You'll assist with daily living activities, help maintain comfort and dignity, and offer reassurance to both patients and their loved ones. Your presence and compassion make all the difference.

What You'll Do:

Provide direct patient care as delegated by the RN, within CNA licensure.

Support patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, eating, and hydration.

Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations.

Assist with treatments, dressings, and basic procedures under nursing direction.

Offer comfort and companionship, while maintaining a safe, respectful care environment.

Keep patient areas and supplies organized to ensure smooth operations.

Document care accurately and assist with clerical tasks when needed.

What You Bring:

Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Current CNA certification (Oregon).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Food Handler's Permit (required).

At least 1 year of experience in an acute care facility preferred.

A compassionate, patient-centered approach and ability to support individuals across all life stages.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly rate:

$22.04 - $33.10

(dependent on experience, training, and union agreement).

Represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
