The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, compassionate, and therapeutic care to acutely ill patients. Working under nursing leadership, the RN performs assessments, develops individualized care plans, implements physician/nursing orders, and evaluates outcomes. This role follows the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and California Nurse Practice Act. Key Responsibilities

Deliver holistic, patient-centered care with compassion. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions. Anticipate and manage changes in patient conditions, initiating emergency protocols when needed. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations. Document all care provided using Cerner EMR. Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience. License:

Valid and unrestricted California RN License. Certifications (Required):

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Advanced AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI)

Technical Skills:

Cerner EMR experience. Competencies

Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment. Ability to prioritize care in rapidly changing situations. Knowledge of nursing theory, medical terminology, and pharmacology. Effective teamwork and communication skills. Qualifications

License: Valid and unrestricted California RN License.

Certifications (Required):Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
