City of Hope's Evaluation and Treatment Center (ETC) , we understand that cancer doesn't wait-the ETC is
open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year , providing specialized urgent care for cancer-related emergencies and unexpected complications. As the
only cancer-specific urgent care center on the West Coast , the ETC combines
over a decade of experience
with cutting-edge technology, offeringa team of experts dedicated to compassionate, comprehensive care. Whether you're experiencing side effects from chemotherapy, complications from immunotherapy or transplant, or other hematologic or oncologic emergencies, our
highly trained clinicians
are here to deliver
personalized, coordinated support -any time, day or night. Our evaluation Treatment Center is expanding and has multiple positions available As a successful candidate, you will: Integrates and practices according to the City of Hope Professional Practice Model to deliver care service excellence. In alignment with City of Hope mission and values, the Division of Nursing and Patient Care Services vision and mission, and with continuous focus on the patient, family and community, carries out the nursing process, coordinates interdisciplinary care planning, documents according to standards, including validation of the patient and caregiver's understanding of the plan of care and expected outcomes. The nurse is a change agent, committed to lifelong learning, professional development and embodiment of City of Hope organizational mission and values, and the values and ethos of the profession of nursing. Hours:
7:00pm - 7:30am
Full time 12 hour shift / 3 days a week Qualifications Your qualifications should include: 3-5 years experience in an acute care setting and/or outpatient setting Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Emergency Department experience a plus Licensures: CA RN License BLS through American Heart Association ACLS through American Heart Association PALS through American Heart Association Compensation at City of Hope is determined by factors such as relevant work experience, qualifications, and job location.
