The Inventory Specialist oversees total level of inventory in the warehouse and keep precise record/history of transactions during daily operations. Main duties include controlling flow of inbound shipments and supplies, tracking and analyzing inventory transaction, and developing protocols for any discrepancies.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 6:00AM-4:00PM) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)
Location:
Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)
Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing total inventory levels in the warehouse and maintaining accurate records of all transactions during daily operations. Key duties include managing inbound shipments and supplies, tracking and analyzing inventory transactions, and developing protocols to resolve discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in inventory systems, including Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities for an Operations (Inventory) Specialist:
Generate regular reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and key metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and reduce excess or obsolete inventory
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and audit results
Secondary:
Lift or move boxes as needed
Conduct additional physical counts for high-critical items as requested by HMGMA
Required Qualifications for an Operations (Inventory) Specialist:
Associate’s Degree
6 years of direct warehouse operations experience
2 years of indirect warehouse operations experience
Qualifications for an Operations (Inventory) Specialist:
Strong understanding of inventory management systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to train and collaborate
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)

The estimated base salary rate for the Operations (Inventory) Specialist is $55,700-$61,600 an hour.
The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
