Here's what you'd do:
The Project Estimator will review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape construction and Irrigation projects.
You'd be responsible for:
Gathering, calculating, and compiling take off data for use in bid proposal estimates.
Preparing routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the Preconstruction Manager.
Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
Utilizing standard estimate computer software to present information to management
Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity
You might be a good fit if you have:
Minimum of 5 years of construction industry estimating experience for hardscape or building construction projects
Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience.
Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Strong work ethic
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
Strong work ethic
Effective oral and written communication skills
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Customer service experience
Experience with HCSS, Bluebeam, or Procore
Proficient with On-Screen Take-Off a plus
