Donation Warehouse Associate
Part-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt, Tuesday – Saturday
Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that sells new as well as gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more to raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat. We're looking to add a Part-Time Retail Associate to work in our donation warehouse unloading and loading donations.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED
Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers
Responsibilities
Greet donors and take in donations at the Donation Center.
Price the incoming donations.
Assist customers with carrying out their purchases.
Work side by side with Volunteers in a team environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Positive attitude, energetic and committed to being at work for scheduled shifts.
Able to adapt quickly to rapid changes and unexpected shifts in priorities.
Takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and has a professional demeanor.
Frequent use of moving equipment to move items; the majority of your day is spent standing or walking.
Ability to frequently and safely lift and maneuver furniture, appliances, and building material weighing up to 50 pounds.
