• Anticipate client needs and proactively solving before client knows what is needed
• Actively participates in decision making with client and client executive
• Polished proposal writing, scoping, pricing, and project execution skills
• Capable of managing the staffing of client managers
• Identifies and leads process improvement to streamline internal project delivery and champions internal
change management and team coaching
• Visionary thinker with the ability to lead clients and team to bring to a consensus
• Can lead project QA, QC and project risk
• Works closely with service area and practice area leaders supporting aspects of service line development, planning, billing
• Willing to take the lead with needed in any aspect of project delivery (not expertise)
• Actively participates in thought leadership: blogs, podcasts, conferences, white papers, etc.
• Builds collaborative and productive relationships with junior advisors and clients
• Contribute and support new product/service lines and development
• Champions use of tools and analytics
• Leads and coordinates project pursuits and heavily engaged in business development
• Subject matter and project delivery expertise to develop and lead client and internal workshops
• Ability to perform in a variety of roles through the full project life cycle with both specialist and functional knowledge
• A leader and mentor to team members and respective practice area members
• Contributes to product development and can lead a service/product line
• Assists in aligning the team culturally and with MPS mission, vision, and values
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or related field
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience on planning healthcare projects (acute care, ambulatory, essential services, etc.)
• Ideally accredited thought he American College of Healthcare Architects
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, AutoCAD and other related tools to work in a multi-discipline team
• Strong technical and critical thinking skills that apply in development of planning projects and transfers into documentation, applying thorough understanding of codes, standards, and compliance requirements
• Ideally has additional certification or accreditations for LEAN, EDAC, WELL AP, LEED AP, etc.
• Proficiency in computational design preferred
• Proficiency in Power BI and Adobe Suite preferred
