BUS MONITOR/AIDE

Location:

Transportation and Maintenance Building

Salary:

$14.00/Hourly - Contractor Wage through EduStaff

Reports To:

Transportation Coordinator/EduStaff Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Computer Literate Complete a personnel/criminal records check ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to conduct oneself professionally (i.e. confidentiality, respect, and courtesy). Interact in a positive manner with children. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students and staff. Monitor student behavior on the bus and secure students in seat belts or wheel chairs. Have knowledge of the safety precautions needed to ensure the safety of every child. Have knowledge of the school code of conduct. Assist driver as needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator. Adherence to the Core Competencies for Success. (Click here to see attachment)

LENGTH OF DAY:

6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

OR

12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.

OR

1:45 - 4:45 p.m.

(NOTE: You may work more than one shift if you want. Details to be arranged through Transportation Coordinator.)
