Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply advanced simulation techniques (FEA, CFD, plastic flow simulation, thermal analysis) to support the design and development of connector products to support R&D and engineering globally Perform structural, fatigue, vibration, and heat transfer analyses to evaluate product designs and develop new components, assemblies, and concepts Conduct flow analysis (air, liquid, multiphase, and plastic injection molding processes) Perform and support high-speed signal connector testing, integrating results with simulation models Work with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for design optimization Create test correlation plans and collaborate with test labs to validate simulation predictions Develop and validate simulation methodologies and models to ensure accuracy Work closely with the test lab to validate and optimize simulation accuracy, ensuring strong correlation between test and analysis results Document and present analysis results to cross-functional teams and customers Support design reviews, DFMEA, and product qualification processes with simulation data Assist in mentoring engineers on analysis methods and tools Stay current with simulation tools, best practices, and emerging technologies Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging simulation to reduce development cycles and costs Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and practices Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications:
