Citi has embarked on a multi-year transformation effort to simplify and modernize its legacy Issuers Platforms. As part of the transformation, Citi is modernizing the legacy systems and moving to a new next generation architecture using microservices, event driven architecture etc. The Deals/Agency systems will provide critical capabilities for Citi’s Clients globally.

To support the transformation initiative, Citi is looking to hire a Senior Architect to lead the development and implementation of overall technical and architecture vision supporting the organization's business goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for collaborating and partnering with a team of other architects to create, deliver scalable and secure solution.

The

Solutions Architect

will play a crucial role in the organization's digital transformation efforts and will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to support the business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the groups technical and architectural vision and strategy supporting the organization's business goals and objectives.

Design and implement secure and scalable technical solutions to support the organization's workloads.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, data protection, and disaster recovery.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs

Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technologies and tools

Monitor and troubleshoot critical issues, and implement solutions to resolve them

Provide training and guidance to teams on the use of the architecture best practices.

Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and implementation of large systems

Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud technologies

Hands on experience in designing event driven architecture, microservices, client front-ends

Familiarity with security and compliance best practices

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

Experience with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform

Exposure to Agentic AI, Generative AI technologies

Experience with enterprise architecture governance, data modeling, is highly preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
