A Brief Summary of This Position:
This individual contributor role within Site Pro 1, part of the Telecom division, is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, and preparing communication tower components and materials for shipment. The Warehouse Associate also maintains inventory accuracy, assists with shipping/receiving, and ensures a clean and safe work environment. This position works under the direction of the Facility Manager and follows established guidelines and procedures.
Essential Functions:
This position reports into the Facility Manager and has no direct reports.
Accurately pick, pack, and stage items based on customer orders and packing slips.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring products are secured properly.
Perform inventory control activities such as cycle counts and product verification.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment at all times.
Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements while working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; most frequent lifts are 20 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High school diploma or GED, plus 6+ months of relevant education or work experience.
Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages).
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Ability to work overtime as needed based on business demands.
Experience operating a personal computer for order tracking and inventory tasks
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
1+ year of previous warehouse or distribution experience.
Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and airborne particles. Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; team lifts or equipment required for items above 50 lbs. Safety glasses, metatarsal safety shoes, and PPE are required. Continuous attention to safety and adherence to warehouse processes and traffic regulations is required.
