As the Construction Support Analyst (CSA) Specialist at Ares, you will provide independent administrative support services related to construction contracts at Naval Base Kitsap. This role is essential for ensuring the effective execution of pre-construction and post-construction phase documents. The CSA Specialist will represent the interests of NAVFAC NW in interactions with construction professionals and various public and private entities while adhering to established policies and procedures. Active Secret security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Preparation:

Generate a variety of documents, including memorandums, reports, forms, and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and proofreading for grammatical and spelling errors. Prepare routine draft official correspondence for Government representatives' approval.

Data Management:

Input and review data in various systems (e.g., eCMS, Oracle Primavera, ieFACMAN) to track and monitor project performance. Analyze project data to identify areas requiring additional attention and prepare relevant metrics.

Access Requests:

Receive, log, review, and recommend contractor badging and access requests for project assignments. Maintain logs for incoming/outgoing correspondence, access requests, and outage requests.

File Management:

Develop, maintain, and update hardcopy file folders for assigned projects, including filing and copying documents.

Research and Reporting:

Research and retrieve departmental performance data for reports and briefings. Monitor FEC conformance with program guidance and communicate any changes to management.

Support and Communication:

Assist Government staff with programming, analysis, evaluation of program plans, and identification of potential problem areas. Maintain project change order logs and provide funding tracking updates. Attend meetings, briefings, and site visits as necessary to support project duties. Effectively communicate verbally and via email with various NAVFAC Departments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; business degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of facility management or construction practices. Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with experience in preparing correspondence and reports. Proficient in MS 365 (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Projects, and Tableau. Ability to utilize construction management software for data entry and reporting task. Must possess an active Secret security clearance. Capable of engaging with multiple levels of authority to facilitate decisive actions among involved parties, including construction contractors and Government agencies. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with NAVFAC financial management systems or similar platforms is desirable. Knowledge of NAVFAC-specific applications (e.g., eCMS, COGNOS, CFMS, SPS, WAWF, ieFACMAN, MAXIMO) is a plus.
