Job Title: Phlebotomy TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician with expertise in high-volume blood draws and excellent bedside manner. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse clientele ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients, using both butterfly and straight needle techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform high-volume blood draws with proficiency in butterfly and straight needle techniques.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a good bedside manner with all clients.

Work with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric.

Adapt to weekly changing shifts and manage unexpected schedule changes efficiently.

Ensure proper collection, labeling, and processing of blood samples.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience in high-volume blood draws.

Proficiency in handling hard stick cases.

Expertise in butterfly and straight needle techniques.

Phlebotomy certification.

Strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in a laboratory setting.

Ability to handle emergency situations with flexibility.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, with weekend shifts on Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM and Sunday from 8 AM to 12 PM, required twice a month. You must be available to work 8-hour shifts within these hours. The position involves working with a variety of clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and a professional demeanor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
