Job Description:

We are seeking a

Sr. Cloud Security Architect

to join the cloud security team and drive the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This role will serve as a subject matter expert, advising product and engineering teams, performing security architecture reviews, guiding IAM policies, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing secure systems, reviewing technical documentation, and implementing mitigating controls in cloud environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Act as a Cloud Security SME supporting Infosec functions including policy shaping, compliance, and architecture reviews. Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cloud security risks. Partner with product teams to design secure network and serverless architectures. Provide IAM policy guidance to enforce least-privileged access. Review cloud architectures and AI/ML workflows for security vulnerabilities prior to deployment. Interface with cloud providers and vendors to enhance security feature sets. Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing. Create and maintain cloud security documentation, processes, and standards. Stay current with evolving cloud security threats, tools, and mitigation strategies. Requirements:

Must-Haves:

2+ years' experience

designing, implementing, and maintaining systems supporting multiple users. Experience reviewing

technical documentation and cloud architecture diagrams

to identify security issues; ability to create design artifacts (e.g., infrastructure diagrams). Experience reviewing

technical configurations

and recommending mitigating controls for security-related misconfigurations; background managing

exception requests . Technology Requirements:

Experience securing or building

Azure cloud environments . Proficiency in at least one scripting language ( Python, Node.js, or Go ). Core understanding of

IP networking, routing, and VPNs . Nice-to-Haves:

Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, GCP Professional Security Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA Security+. Experience with

Wiz, Splunk, Brinqa , or integrations with Slack/Jira. Strong understanding of decentralized and hybrid cloud environments. Experience automating processes end-to-end. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
